Join our physician owned, multi-specialty, multi-location clinic in the northwest suburbs of Minneapolis. North Clinic has been serving our community for more than sixty years. We are currently looking for a full time Medical Records Specialist to work at our Osseo location.
Essential Functions
1. Answers phone/intercom in department throughout the day.
2. Retrieves medical files as requested.
3. Files charts and correspondence
4. Maintains a comprehensive medical file.
5. Follows trained procedures.
6. Provides support to providers and co-workers.
7. Maintain good communication, customer service, chart/information flow.
Education/Qualifications
1. High school degree or equivalent
2. Minimum of one year of experience preferred, but not required.
3. Knowledge of medical record work procedures and terminology.
4. Knowledge of basic computer applications.
